Adobe Flash Lite 2.1 Open OS

Submitted by ghada on Monday, 13 November 2006One Comment

Yes, that’s right, Adobe has announced that Flash Lite 2.1 will be available as a FREE download from their site! This is great news for developers – this is an advancement that allows us to monetize on our Flash Lite content that is being created. Depending on how the content is to be distributed i.e. via the net, a link to the Adobe site can now be included. This means that no longer is the player only available to developers, it is also available FREE of charge to the end user. It is similar to the free to downlaod model used for the Flash player on the desktop.

The player for BREW is available today while the Symbian and Windows Mobile versions will be available in December. A beta version for the Wondows mobile is available in the Adobe Labs today.
